I stumbled across quirky artwork done by German artist Timm Schneider. He begins with simple objects and with a marker and sets of styrofoam balls, Schneider turns trash cans, coffee cups, and street posts into goofy cartoon faces. Be sure to check out the work of Scott Beseler who creates a similar effect with mannequin arms. The idea is simple yet strong.
