A little while ago, Houzz published a great article on tips that can sell your home faster to a younger buyer. As Kirsite Barnett mentions in the article, when you put your house on the market you’re likely to sell to a younger buyer, and so it’s important to market to them effectively.
Working with neutral wall colours and furniture is always a safe & sound investment. Buying all your large pieces in a neutral colour palette will allow you to change your home’s colour scheme easily by adding oloured accessories and art. I love changing the feel of my living room simply by changing the pillow colours.
I have used white cabinets in two different renovations and they appeal to a broad range of buyers and look good with almost any countertop. There are many different styles of white cabinets, so look through magazines and Houzz to help determine which style will best suit your home. This will give the kitchen a fresh and updated look.
